Your Musicianship Toolkit
✦ Strengthen your musical memory and pitch accuracy with short melodies and canons learned by rote
✦ Develop rhythmic fluency through clapping, speaking, and visualizing patterns clearly
✦ Read melodies more fluently and with confidence by using solfège as your “inner GPS” for pitch and key
✦ Explore key signatures and harmony on a “need-to-know” basis—enough to focus on the music, not the jargon
✦ Sing and listen in ensemble to sharpen your tuning, timing, and group awareness
✦ Leave each session with more musical confidence and clarity—energized for the season ahead
Why this course?
Whether you’re returning to choir in the fall, preparing for auditions, or simply looking to build confidence with music reading and ear training, this four-week series offers a supportive, engaging space to grow your skills.
Each session includes singing by ear, rhythm work, key signature fluency, solfège reading, and ensemble activities—accessible, practical tools to help you feel more musically prepared and at ease.
